About Mafía Island Lodge

Mafia Island Lodge is located on the sandy beach in Chole Bay, Mafia Island, Tanzania. It is located inside the protected Marine Park near Utende village. The Lodge has 30 rooms of various types, standard and superior rooms and family rooms with double or twin beds. All rooms are equipped with hot water, fan wall and air conditioning. In the large common area you can find a bar, lounge area with comfortable seating, a small library with books in different languages, a pool table and a ping pong table. Other facilities include a souvenir shop in the beach in front of our beach bar, laundry service, excursions, snorkeling and diving with Diving Center Mafia. The cuisine is a fusion of Swahili cuisine, Italian, Indian and respect for halal meat, meals are either served at the table and even buffet. There is also an à la carte menu, with snacks and pizzas at all hours of the day.
