About Les Heures Claires

Les Heures Claires is wonderfully peaceful place, yet on the doorstep of many important historical centres including Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel (France's favourite village 2014), at the centre of the important Gaillac wine industry and on two of France's long-distance footpaths as well as the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago da Compostella. Guests have their own beautiful rooms with small frig and facilities for making hot drinks, but are welcome to use the sitting room, dining room and terrace overlooking the River Vere as though they were in their own home. They are welcome to borrow books from my extensive library and I am happy to advise on walking routes and vineyards in the area and can arrange vineyard visits. There is free WiFi throughout the house and guests can also use the PC and printer if they need to. Long-stay guests are welcome to use the washing machine. I only have room for four guests so they get my undivided attention. I love to share my local knowledge with my guests as well as recipes from my cookery book collected over many years of travel and enjoying good food. Les Heures Claires is my home and it gives me great pleasure to share its unique delights with my guests.
