The hotel is clean and comfortable and directly off the I-35 interstate. Although it's only a 20 minute drive from the Airport, the tariff is much less than those charged at hotels that are only a little bit nearer.
You can't fault the staff here; they are so friendly and welcoming. There seems to be a lack of security staff at night but that doesn't detract from the very positive opinion of staff throughout the hotel.
The highway is really close by but you can't hear any noise. Neither can you hear those noisy, freeloading kids in the room next door! Rooms have exterior doors so they're ideal if you need to take the pet pooch, or untrained kids, for an evening constitutional. The fact that you can park directly outside your room is another source of confidence.
It can only be down to a lack of thorough cleaning after pet owners (in particular) have departed. The smell is intense, highly unpleasant and has obviously been hanging around and pervading the building for some considerable time.
Bedding isn't changed, carpets aren't cleaned and there is a general lack of care, so far as cleanliness is concerned. This makes you wonder if the hotel values your custom.
Breakfast is a pretty dismal affair. Members of staff don't seem interested and breakfast is obviously just an inconvenient add-on from their point of view. Items run out and are not replaced and menu choices are limited and unimpressive.
