About La Quinta by Wyndham Fort Worth - Lake Worth
Featuring comfortable and fully updated accommodation, La Quinta Inn & Suites Fort Worth – Lake Worth is situated in an incredibly convenient spot just off the I-820.
The rooms are newly renovated and looking very smart and modern. But they don’t only look good, they are well-equipped as well, with flat screen TV’s fast Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave, minibar and much more.
The outdoor pool deck is the perfect spot to be when the Texas heat really hits, but you can also retreat to the cool interior and make use of the business center or relax in the lobby.
A comprehensive breakfast is served daily that includes continental basics as well as bacon, sausage and eggs. There are a couple of chain restaurants nearby, including the ever-popular IHOP.
Lake Worth is a popular area attraction. Its shores are less than a mile from the hotel.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Kept very clean
While guests did seem to have one or two problems with their rooms, cleanliness wasn't one of them. Guest after guest mentioned that their room was very clean on check-in and tended to remain in top shape during the course of their stay.
positive:
Close to some decent restaurants
Only breakfast is available at the hotel, so guests were happy to report that there were a decent range of restaurants, usually part of a chain, within a very short driving distance.
positive:
Completely non-smoking hotel
While not mentioned very often, a couple of guests did say that they appreciated that the entire hotel was non-smoking. They felt this made it a lot less likely that they would be stuck in a room that smelled of tobacco smoke, and in fact no complaints to this effect could be found.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast a little disappointing
While this La Quinta, unlike many others, does offer hot food items like sausages and eggs in its breakfast line-up, it seems something was a little “off” with their preparation. Several guests mentioned that the items offered were poorly prepared and that they'd rather go out and have breakfast elsewhere.
negative:
Malfunctioning equipment
An extraordinary number of guests reported that an amenity in their room simply wasn't functioning. Often it was the cable box, resulting in nothing to watch on the sleek flat screen TV, but other items were also said to be prone to breaking down.
negative:
Some staff pretty rude
While it was by no means a general complaint, several guests mentioned that they encountered staff with a very bad attitude at reception, especially at night. They wondered why a particular person was in a customer service position in the first place.
