The staff is friendly
The friendly staff at Ionad Siuil greets you with a smile at check in and are there for you during the duration of your stay. They can easily point you in the direction of places to dine, drink and shop, as well as the most popular tourist destinations that are located nearby.
positive:
The common areas are great
The guest lounge and communal kitchen add a homely feel to this simple hostel which doesn't have much in the way of sitting space in the guest rooms. The kitchen enables you to cook for yourself if you want to and that helps to stretch your travel budget a bit farther.
positive:
The rooms are clean
Although the guest rooms are simple and straightforward, they are clean, as are the en suite facilities.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There's no Wi-Fi in the guest rooms
Although there is Wi-Fi in the public spaces at Ionad Siuil there is no Internet access in the guest rooms. This could be a drag if you are trying to send an email out in a hurry or use your electronic devices in your room.
negative:
Not a lot of amenities in the guest rooms
The guest rooms here are bare bones. You get a bed and bedding and an en suite with towels and that's about it. The wooden floors have no rugs on them and there's no Wi-Fi, TV or tea and coffee facilities. At least there is a common area where these things are available.
negative:
Not a central location
This hostel is a bit isolated and you need a car to get to the areas most popular sites.
