Guests were very happy with the staff members employed by the hotel. They said that they offered warm welcome on arrival and were friendly and helpful throughout the course of their often long stay.

Guests felt that the location, right by the interstate, was very convenient. Most were on extended stays due to business or other commitments in the area, and found it a great base when travelling throughout the region.

Guests mentioning value for money felt that they had received good value during their stay. They felt that the rooms rates were very low, the location good and the facilities quite adequate.

An extraordinary number of guest mentioned problems with tobacco smoke. The hotel is not smoke free, and it seems that many other guests smoke in their rooms and elsewhere. As a result, the hallways and other public areas of the hotel tended to constantly smell like smoke.

While daily cleaning is not included n the rate, guests did expect their rooms to be clean on check-in. Unfortunately, many reported that the cleaning had obviously been very slapdash, with many little issues that made them uncomfortable occupying the room until they had bee dealt with.

Guests did not think much of the current room décor. They said that it was clear that it had not been substantially updated for some years, perhaps decades. The general feeling was that they were like a motel room from one of those classic American road trip movies.
