According to many guests, this hotel's location west of Geneva city centre was handy as it enabled uncomplicated access to the airport and downtown via regular buses and trams that stopped outside. Budget-conscious visitors highly appreciated the free citywide public transport tickets they were given at reception. Another bonus was that there were shops and amenities nearby.

Reviewers were largely pleased with the customer service, often describing members of staff as efficient, professional and pleasant with plenty of useful local knowledge.

Although the rooms were fairly basic, most guests found them to be well-cleaned and comfortable enough for a shorter stay. Many travellers appreciated the cocoon-style design of the rooms, which made the most of the available space. Plenty of reviewers felt they got a decent amount of bang for their buck considering the room rates were affordable relative to alternatives in expensive Geneva.

Some travellers found it annoying having to renew their access to the free Wi-Fi network periodically. Occasionally, it was also claimed the signal was prone to dropping in some areas of the building.

Motorists welcomed the offer of on-site parking. However, some felt the prices were pretty steep. Some diners also expressed doubts about whether the self-service breakfast buffet was good value for money for the price they paid.

Some critics felt the rooms were pretty small, especially when fully occupied; others disliked the layout of the en suite facilities, describing the shower and toilet rooms as small cubicles. Several guests felt the in-room temperature controls were ineffective and light sleepers were sometimes bothered by noise from adjacent rooms and corridors.
