Positive Reviews
positive:
Great beachfront location and more
This hotel's beachfront location is its big draw. However, there's more to this resort than easy access to the shore and guests were delighted to find that they were within walking or biking distance to so many of the area's shops, bars and restaurants as well as Panama City Beach.
positive:
Good for groups and families
This resort advertises that it's equipped for groups and families and for many, it certainly fit the bill in this respect. Guests who came as members of large groups reported that they were well-accommodated, as did parents with young children. This latter group was particularly impressed by the huge pool and bike access around the property.
positive:
Well-groomed premises
In terms of looks, guests commented frequently on just how well-maintained the hotel grounds were kept and visitors were particularly impressed by the sparkling pool.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Indirect access to beach
While this is a beachfront property, those who were not in one of the Gulf-facing buildings reported that access to the seafront was awkward. Those with inland units reported a considerable walk to the beach via a set of narrow steps.
negative:
Inconsistent fixtures and fittings
While the grounds of this resort are pristine, some guests reported inconsistent standards within individual rental units. This seems to be true for the quality of the décor here, with repeat guests staying in different units over the years noting that each one is furnished to differing standards. Fixtures and fittings - especially old TVs, worn carpets and dated décor - seemed to be an issue in some rentals.
negative:
Decline in standards?
Some repeat guests have commented that with the passing of the years, the overall quality of this resort is slipping somewhat and the aforementioned inconsistencies from unit to unit especially impacted their stay.
