Positive Reviews
positive:
Free beverage services.
Garden Saint Martin offers access to a number of hot and cold drinks throughout your stay, including tea, juice, hot chocolate, and coffee. These small touches offer a great taste of Parisian drinks, especially in regards to the cappuccino service. These drinks are also offered as standalone treats rather than meal additions.
positive:
Solid Wi-Fi.
Some establishments struggle with maintaining a strong Wi-Fi signal, but the network here is strong and fast enough to handle most requests for uploads, downloads, and media transfers. If you're doing business or simply staying in touch with family, it's especially appreciated.
positive:
Excellent location.
Garden Saint Martin is located just a stone's throw from the majority of the famous sites and galleries of Paris. If you can't reach a site on foot, you can access the nearby metro and find your way there within three to four stops.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Surcharges for breakfast.
The breakfast at the hotel isn't too unique for the city, but still comes with an attached price tag. You may be better off dining at one of the nearby cafes rather than shelling out for the breakfast services here, especially considering the relative cost.
negative:
Small rooms.
Considering the city and the cost of the room, this point isn't exactly deal-breaking. The rooms at Garden Saint Martin are smaller than average, as are the attached bathroom units and some of the balcony spaces. Fortunately, they're functional and serve their purpose well.
negative:
Missing shower curtains.
Strangely enough, many rooms lack a curtain for the tub and shower unit, causing water to leak onto the floor. You can remedy this by laying out towels, but this obviously creates more waste and forces you to dry towels immediately.
