Hotel Four Elements Suites (Salou, Spain)

The rooms have a really nice ambiance. The apartments are large with private terraces or gardens. The decor is modern and the separated space makes for convenience when on a long holiday.

The complex has a lot to offer families on holiday. There is a kid's pool, playground, and kid's club. There are different all-inclusive options, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served every day. The food options also include both snacks and drinks.

The hotel is very close to the beach and the waves and water are easy walking distance, even when juggling kids and sun gear. The pool area has many sun loungers and is a relaxing space. Best yet, there is a poolside bar.

It's a very long walk to the town and attractions of Salou. Plan on about 30 minutes each way. There are few shops or restaurants in the area. You'll need public transportation to really explore.

Not all the staff speaks English and communicating issues and concerns can be quite problematic. The area has very few restaurants serving typical English fare and the hotel has very few English-speaking guests.

The hotel has many areas of disrepair. If your room suffers from one, don't expect it to be fixed quickly. The food options at the restaurant don't vary much and the menu is heavy on fish. You might have to wait a long time to check in and don't expect a hot shower as water temperatures hover around tepid.
