Rooms are exceptionally clean and inviting. So, too, are the public areas, pool and hot tub. It's a welcome change from some hotels.

Check out the prices and be surprised at the value you get here. Rooms are spacious and more than adequately equipped with attractive features. WiFi is simple to operate without those silly passwords and the pool and gymnasium are attractive areas for relaxation and recreation. It's an easy drive into town and Cortland Free Library is 2.4 miles away.

If there is a weak link here, it's certainly not the staff! Always smiling and very efficient, they are just another piece in the attractive jigsaw that is this hotel. It's worth noting, too, that they receive annual re-training relating to first-aid.

Guests could share a super large dormitory so complaints about paper thin walls and no sound insulation. As it is, noise pollution is a real problem here.

Is it a suite, or is it a room? It's certainly worth double and triple checking to make sure that you've got what you want for the price you are paying. A bit of an inconvenience, but it avoids you being fleeced for more money later. Also, watch out! If there is even the hint of an 'event' likely to take place locally ... 'whoosh'... up go the prices!

Buses bring people, so the hotel loves buses. As you try to sleep in your room at the rear of the hotel, don't undertake the task with any confidence. Buses are resting outside with noisy engines 'idling'; not just for a few minutes, but endlessly.
