Hotel Comfort Inn Pueblo (Pueblo, USA)

Rooms are ,generally clean and inviting. Maybe beds are a bit on the hard side, but that’s perfect for some guests.

The members of  staff here are cheerful, competent and keen to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

If you arrive early and the room is ready, no problem! They’ll give you access straight away. Equally, if circumstances change and you want to extend your stay but the room isn’t available … they’ll co-operate as much as possible and transfer you to another room nearby. Very flexible and helpful.

Hotel renovations incorporate a huge gap under the room door, thus highlighting any noise from surrounding areas and from other guests. There is evidence of them not having a vacuum cleaner as carpets can be somewhat grubby. Cleaning, generally, needs re-appraising. Overall, improvement is called for.

Portions and choices are limited. Breakfast is something of a disappointment here. Hot items are far from hot and unhealthily tepid. Later meals are OK though and there are restaurants nearby to suit all tastes.  The nearby Mexican is excellent if that's the cuisine you enjoy.

The night time front desk staff seem to be pre-occupied and not blessed with the desire to offer assistance to guests. They’re not rude as such – just lacking in some essential enthusiasm. Day time staff members seem to be more than fine and it’s always as well to bear in mind that accommodation here is really very cheap. Also, the area is a bit shabby ... but certainly not chic. Car break-ins aren’t unusual.
