Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenience of an all-inclusive package
Guests love the convenience of the all-inclusive package. One is not limited by price when choosing between one of the three on-site restaurants, as they have paid for the option of all three, and can also enjoy as many drinks from the bars as they like.
positive:
Couldn't ask for a better beach getaway
The entire setting of this hotel revolves around a tropical beach paradise. Guests can't get enough of the uncountable palm trees, rooms, dining settings and the beach itself that offer guests a luxurious stay in a beautiful part of Playa Bavaro.
positive:
Such great features you won't want to leave
Several guests have been so pleased with the on-site features and services offered that they have not felt the need to leave. Furthermore, excursions organised by the hotel are offered so guests do not need to plan for themselves or leave the property to find their own activities.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not geared for those on a budget
Of course the fine location, beautiful property and all-inclusive package does not come cheap. Therefore, because so much more is offered, this hotel is geared more toward those guests who are happy to pay a higher price than what they would at another hotel.
negative:
Slight language barrier for English guests
Being in the Dominican Republic, this hotel houses several French speaking guests. This is not such a problem in terms of staff, as most speak fluent English, but in terms of other guests, most are French speaking.
negative:
Not always the most peaceful resort
Being a large and busy resort, one would expect it to be rather loud when catering for a lot of guests. The noise levels have often come up at this hotel as a negative aspect and sound-proofing efforts by management could definitely be improved.
