Positive Reviews
positive:
Very comfy beds
While guests did seem to find quite a bit to fault at the hotel, it seems the hotel scored a major hit with the mattresses. Guest after guest reported that they found the mattresses exceptionally comfortable - in some cases the most comfortable they ever slept on, including their mattress at home in this analysis.
positive:
Decent value for money
While guests did have a number of issues with the hotel, many said that the room rate they received was so reasonable they could easily look past these. As a result they felt they had received pretty decent value for money.
positive:
Useful shuttle service to/from O'Hare
While some guests were a little unhappy that the shuttle only left every hour, most were very happy to be able to easily get to their hotel without the hassle and expense of having to hire a car right away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Far from airport and Chicago
Though distance is a relative measurement, several guests felt it was misleading to have Chicago's O'Hare Airport in the hotel's name. They felt it was much too far away for this to be reasonable. Also, they said it was too far from the city itself.
negative:
Very limited breakfast
It was hard to find many guests who enjoyed the breakfast. While most did not think the food was terrible, they did find it incredibly repetitive. Even a guest staying just one day would have trouble constructing an interesting breakfast. If staying for several days they would face exactly the same limited menu each day.
negative:
$100 deposit on arrival
An extraordinary number of guests reported unhappiness with the $100 deposit taken on their credit card on arrival. While not terribly unusual, they were not informed that this would happen ahead of time that this would be required.
