About Cheshire Boutique Barns
Exquisitely renovated to a very high standard, the Cheshire Boutique Barns consists of three converted barns, spread out on the grounds, as well as five rooms in the main house, which are booked as one unit.
Both the converted barns, and the rooms in the main house, are luxuriously furnished and feature luxury bed linens and TV’s. Both the house and the barns include full kitchens, complete with Aga stoves.
The property includes many outdoor facilities, including BBQ area. The main house also has a cosy lounge with fireplace. In-house spa and beauty treatments can be arranged.
There is no on-site restaurant, but one of Britain’s best rural pubs is just down the road, and can accommodate most tastes.
Kids will love a trip to the Chester Zoo, just 20 miles drive from the retreat, while adults may prefer afternoon tea in the lovely grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, 4.6 miles away.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Peaceful, quiet and serene
The serenity of the location is one of the first things guests notice and comment on. While many are staying on the property because they have business or an event in the area, many other come just for the peace and quite. But whatever the reason, all concur that it was one of the most serene stays they ever experienced.
positive:
Exquisitely renovated and furnished
Perhaps the second most commented upon aspect is the structure and décor of the barn conversions. Guests have only very high praise, saying that their accommodation was exquisitely renovated, and offered a level of comfort and luxury they had rarely experienced.
positive:
Close to some great pubs
While there are no dining options on the property, this didn't seem to bother guests at all. Many mention that there are great pubs in the area that offer excellent food and hospitality.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Somewhat weak Wi-Fi signal
It is very near impossible to find anything negative written about Heald Country House. Whatever tiny problem may have arisen, it seems it was washed away by a deluge of good experiences. It was mentioned that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak, but it seems this doesn't really put a damper on the stays of guests wanting to get away from it all.
negative:
A little difficult to find
The rural location may be difficult for guests, and perhaps their GPS's, to find. It is advisable to obtain the precise co-ordinates and program them into your GPS.
negative:
Having to keep a secret
More than just a couple of guests were so impressed with their stays that they felt they had to take a vow of secrecy, and not tell even their friends about Heald Country House - lest they not be able to get a booking themselves in future.
