This hotel passed the white glove test, with guests giving glowing reviews about room cleanliness. What rooms sometimes lacked in modern decor, they made up for by being well taken care of.
Guests loved the downtown location. Top attractions were mostly within walking distance, including nearby St. Pierre Cathedral, and guests were minutes away from major transportation. It was also no problem to walk to shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
Guests were resistant to pay for Wi-Fi. They felt that considering the price of the room, Wi-Fi should have been included. Unfortunately, it wasn't always efficient either, with some guests unable to use the Internet at times. Guests also found the high prices for minibar items and toiletries to be a nuisance.
While it seems that some rooms were better than others, guests were less than thrilled with lacklustre accommodation. Out of date rooms were sparsely decorated, leaving guests with the impression that a makeover was overdue. Thin mattresses and small showers in some rooms also didn't do much for guests' overall opinion of this hotel.
Rooms facing the street could be noisy at times, according to guests. Traffic sounds did little to lull guests to sleep, and some were also bothered by thin walls that allowed noise from neighbours to carry.
