Hotel Carousel Inn & Suites (Anaheim, USA)

The hotel is directly opposite the main Disneyland entrance, so you can just walk over, and you may aso watch the Disneyland fireworks from the rooftop pool.

The pizzas are tasty and freshly made and there is a wide variety of beers to choose from, and guests found the prices to be reasonable.

Guests found the staff to be friendly, efficient and helpful in terms of providing information, booking tours or calling for town cars.

In some of the rooms, guests reported the wallpaper was starting to come off, doors were loose and safes were broken. There seems to be a plumbing issue affecting some of the rooms due to sinks and tubs not draining. Furthermore, soundproofing the rooms was suggested by many guests, as you can hear the street noise, which is why they suggested booking a room toward the back of the property.

Guests pointed out that the elevators do not seem to be regularly inspected, which was evident by their expired stickers. Furthermore, they are reported to be quite small and due to the lack of air-conditioning also very hot - especially during the summer months. What is worth noting if you have mobility issues is the fact that the club-level rooms do not have access to the stairs, so you should make sure to get a ground-floor one.

Some guests reported that housekeeping was not always efficient, as the floors weren't cleaned thoroughly enough and they also forgot to replace items like cups, tissues and towels. Moreover, they noted that some of the furniture pieces were stained, but a normal cleaning could have taken care of this.
