The tariff compares very well with those of neighboring hotels and generally, the motel is clean. If all you want are these basics, you'll be OK. If looking for more … keep looking.

This is quite an attractive setting and quiet. Very convenient, too, for restaurants, shops, etc.

Certainly not OTT, but there seems to be a genuine welcome and staff members do what they can to keep you happy.

Water pressure is virtually non-existent, so showering is a frustrating failure. Blood pressure, though, rockets as a result of this ongoing problem ... one of many.

Obviously, they've never heard of flat-screen TVs. The TVs are more ‘fat-screen': extremely bulky and out of date. Power points are like gold dust. Bed linen is clean but, like everything else here, very old and worn. Rooms are tiny and the bathroom, even smaller and very cramped. On top of that; carpets, tub and sink, are all stained. Pillows are hard and uncomfortable, Clock and lights don't work and the air con is damaged. Numerous electrical items are frighteningly plugged in to one socket and non-smoking rooms stink of smoke.

Bear in mind that you'll either have to buy in breakfast commodities or go to a neighboring breakfast restaurant ... and the financial appeal of this place is negated. It's cheap, but not that cheap. The inclusion of some form of breakfast is called for.
