Positive Reviews
positive:
Awesome Accessibility!
When staying at this motel you have great access to DC, Virginia, and Maryland. It's also located directly off the DC Beltway and Route 1. Huntington Ave is a half-mile and metro stop. There are not a lot of eating places in the vicinity; however, there is an American buffet restaurant close by.
positive:
Convenient, Clean, Comfortable And Nostalgic
This motel is from the era when equipment for cleaning your windshield while on the road is in the parking area and when Richmond Highway was the main road south from DC. It's convenient, acceptably clean, and comfy. The hotel has been in business since the 1950s and they've managed to do the place justice. It's the kind of motel you go to when the basics are enough.
positive:
Surprisingly Courteous Staff
Staff at the motel are extremely nice and accommodating. They offer schedule information for the metro and will even provide a ride to the station if someone is available. They also provide a free bottle of water every day.

Can't Keep The Noise Out
The motel is on a busy road. The noise will seep through the walls as they are so thin. Whether this bothers you or not will depend upon if you are a deep sleeper or not.

No Hype About The Breakfast
The breakfast is nothing special, but at least it is something! It includes bagels and cream cheese, coffee, and orange juice.

You Will Be Met By A Bad Smell Or Two
You may encounter an odd odor upon entering your room. It's a mixture of stale smoke and some other strange odor. Light will probably easily get into your room due to the gap in the door frame. The room amenities are scarce. For example, there is no hairdryer or microwave.
