Borgo Nonino, in the heart of the homonymous distillery, embraced by vineyards, woods and aging cellars under seal, is a corner of paradise suspended between modernity and tradition. The building, partially protected by the fine arts of Udine, dates back to the nineteenth century and consists of seven buildings previously used for housing and ancillary agricultural services. A conservative restoration has allowed the old house to preserve its original appearance, maintaining the characteristic features of the interior. The atrium, overlooking the garden, offers an immersive experience in the greenery. The colors and scents of nature invade it, allowing from the first entrance to tune in to the relaxing rhythm of nature. The ground floor continues giving small pearls of folkloric beauty. The leitmotif of the rooms is hidden in the details linked to the territory, the art of distillation, respecting its tradition, culture and reviving the home. Here then come the fogolar, the collection of copper molds, the lamps decorated with hand-embroidered linen fabrics, ancient stills; finally the master room. On the upper floors, embellished by the mezzanine which proudly sports the rich library, the party room. The ceiling is dominated by the dense sequence of original beams, where the Venini chandelier from the 1950s stands majestically in the center; finally the bedrooms. Each room speaks for details, using the same color palette but with always different results. The pastel colors of the environment contrast with the liveliness of the furnishings; a warm and harmonious mix of vintage and design pieces. From the white walls the windows peep, giving glimpses of the garden and the town. The landscape thus becomes the protagonist to be contemplated with relaxed simplicity.
