Hotel Blue Sail Inn (Morro Bay, USA)

The Blue Sail Inn's location is perfect for enjoying a vacation near the beach and coastal amenities. There's plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, bike, and horse trails, kayaking, golf, boat cruises, and nature walks and photography nearby. Local markets and entertainment and shopping venues are also close, making this a great base for exploring the region.

The staff are well focused on customer service, making sure that guests have what's needed for a successful stay. They're cordial, attentive, and a good resource for insider tips about the area.

There's a simple coastal charm to the rooms, which creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Ample space in the room and bathroom is a plus, and the furniture is comfortable enough for a pleasant sleep.

A makeover would greatly benefit the inn, and bring it to a livelier level that would complement the setting. Although the rooms are nice, they're too drab and uninspiring, and just don't create the ambience hoped for.

Breakfast is somewhat lackluster, not having enough variety or notable taste. It needs to have a larger selection, a better quality, and be more filling.

The inn just doesn't garner enough of a "wow" factor, to make it stand out amongst the many other hotels in the area. Prices are too high for basic accommodations that fail to deliver much of a memorable impression.
