Guests had universal praise for the selection and quality of the complimentary breakfast. The buffet features eggs, sausage, cheese, waffles, fresh fruit and yogurt, as well as several other hot and cold items. Not needing to hunt down a quality meal first thing will take some stress out of your morning and leave you more time for sightseeing.

This 3.5 star hotel is less than five minutes from most of the area's popular attractions including the Fountain of Youth, the Castillo de San Marcos and Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum, as well as the many bars and clubs of St. Augustine's downtown area. At the same time, it is far enough removed to not be bothered by the sound of pedestrians and late night partiers.

The hotel is newly renovated, and guests seem to love the new look. Rooms feature laminate floors, marble counters and comfortable beds. Generally, guests report that issues with the hotel's cleanliness were few and far between.

Numerous guests reported that the air conditioning units in the rooms were either weak or did not work. Considering that it is Florida, a functioning A/C is pretty important for an even tolerable level of comfort.

Several guests seemed to have problems with the in-room refrigerators. They mentioned that the hotel was in the process of upgrading, so the older appliances might be on the list of items to replace, but be wary before buying anything that requires refrigeration without first checking out the refrigerator.

The guestrooms are all non-smoking, which leads many guests to simply smoke on the walkway in front of the room. Numerous people reported that the smell of workers' other guests' cigarette smoke managed to get into the room.
