Ideal for Fifth Avenue
This hotel is perfect for those wanting to explore Fifth Avenue. It is within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Plus, many rooms and the onsite bar have amazing views of the marina and departing and arriving boats.
positive:
An island ambiance
The hotel has a refreshing island vibe that is present in all the rooms and common areas. There is a tropical feeling that perfectly fits the outdoor patio spaces overlooking the water and the hotel decor adds to that island ambiance. The outdoor tiki bars and outdoor breakfast buffet adds to the atmosphere.
positive:
Exceptional service for guest pleasure
The hotel staff gives friendly and pleasant service and is focused on guest pleasure. The front desk is helpful with area information and complimentary perks, such as free towels and umbrellas and the luxury in-room toiletries, add to the exceptional customer service throughout.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A lot of no's
There are a lot of "no's" at this hotel. There is no refrigerator in the room. There are no balconies, even on rooms overlooking the marina. There is no soundproofing between the rooms. There is no space in the baths and rooms for stretching out and relaxing.
negative:
Check-in process needs improvement
Once guests are checked in to the hotel, the stay is a pleasant one. Checking in, though, is a big hassle. The front desk staff frequently seems to be overworked, even when the lines are short. The process is confusing and feels rushed. Often, guests aren't given information that is needed or could be helpful, like where things are located on the property or how to gain access to common areas.
negative:
It's closing time
Night owls won't find the most accommodating atmosphere here as the outside bar closes up quite early. There is also no real action on the marina and guests will have to look elsewhere for fun after the sun goes down.
