About Battens

Battens Farm is a working organic farm in the village of Allington, close to Castle Combe, Lacock, Westonbirt and Bath. There are two lovely cottages available as either b&b or self catering. Stable cottage is all on one floor and has one double and one single bedroom (extra bed available with prior notice), a large kitchen/living area and a private garden. There are exposed beams and a lovely stone tiled floor and a log burning fire. The Farmhouse has one double room, one single and one twin room. It is spread over two floors. There is a large living area with log burning fire, and a patio area and views across fields. As much as possible, the property uses its own products for breakfast, including pork from the farm and free range eggs from the resident organic hens.
