Positive Reviews
positive:
The service is improving
Past guest reviews hint that rude front desk service was once the norm at this budget property. Thankfully, things seem to be improving. While there are still some recent reports of surly staff, there also seems to be one particular member of the reception team who is more than willing to go the extra mile in terms of guest assistance. This helped redeem a number of stays.
positive:

Negative Reviews
negative:
Not quite as it seems…
A number of guests felt that this property was misrepresented by its online photos, which seemed to hint at a more modern ambience. Many felt that this was misleading and even dishonest as, overall, guests were dismayed to find that this hotel was rather dated.
negative:
Housekeeping TLC needed
Sadly, there were many reports here of downright dirty rooms. The bathrooms were a particular issue and many reporting that their rooms had not been cleaned after use by previous guests. Dirty toilets and hair were problematic and there were also reports of bugs, with some spotting roaches. A number were also dismayed to find the carpets heavily stained.
negative:
Traffic congestion
Despite its convenient location, for some, it provided no respite from local traffic. Some guests found that they had to plan their journeys carefully so as to avoid being caught in a jam.
