Rooms are clean, adequate, roomy, and comfortable. The exterior of the hotel doesn’t look like anything much; however, once you go inside you will find the facility more than up to standard. It’s also good for families.
The kitchen is great and very convenient. You can save money and bring back snacks or produce that you can store in the fridge and cook or heat up later.
The hotel is not as close as you might think to the centre of town, so you will have to take the tram. However, the tram is limited during the evening and only operates twice per-hour. The entryway to the hotel is off a deserted alley, so if you are a female alone it might be a bit scary during the night time hours. The breakfast selection is nothing to write home about and once it’s gone that’s it, they don’t restock! What’s more, the walls are too thin and you can easily hear other visitors talking. The smoking area at the hotel entrance is distasteful.
If you like to watch TV in your room after a busy day of sightseeing, there is only one channel and it’s in German. So if you don’t speak the language, you are left just staring at the TV screen.
You can hear the tram noise from inside the hotel. It makes it difficult if you want to keep the window open for fresh air during the summer months.
