Friendly Advice And Owners
The owners are helpful and full of advice and information. Their friendliness makes you feel right at home. The recommendations for restaurants is great. For example, the Chi Wai Chinese restaurant across the street is a good recommendation and the Malvarosa is good for tapas.
positive:
Eye For Design
The décor is quite decent. It seems that the place, or at least parts of it, have been refurbished. Nice lounge, lovely red carpet, spiffy seating area, and corridors lined with appealing artwork and photos is impressive.

Bus Mix-Up
The guesthouse is pretty far from the centre of Edinburgh. However, though there is a bus that goes there, it is only in the morning and you can easily miss the first bus out. Make sure you get up bright and early if you want to catch your ride into the city.

Too Early For Sunday
It's not fair. The last breakfast ends too early on Sunday morning. If you've been in the centre of the town until late Saturday night, you are probably certain to miss it.

Tell Them To Go Away
Though the beach is a long stretch with beautiful sand, it is littered with tons of people and a huge amount of them drink near the promenade wall. It spoils the fun and forget about privacy.
