The lodge is a classic example of getting what you pay for, without that being a bad thing, Fair pricing gets you a comfy bed, decent storage space, a bathroom, and room amenities that add up to decent accommodations for a short stay.
Whether travelling for business, pleasure, or both, for an event right here in town or somewhere nearby, this is a great central location. It works very well as a base to explore dining, shopping, necessities, and whatever else strikes your fancy. Public transit is also quite easy to reach.
Several additional factors make this a lovely stay, and provide more reasons to consider this for your travels. There's very little traffic noise that filters through the windows, the Wi-Fi signal is consistent, and the staff are readily available and pleasantly respond to requests.
A major disappointment for guests upon check-in is seeing the conditions of the rooms. The furniture is long past its prime, and there's more drabness than vibrancy. The fixtures are also well worn, and would benefit from better cleaning and maintenance or replacement.
