Guests reported that it looks like the hotel has been recently renovated. They said that it looked sleek and sophisticated and that they were happy to be able to simply sit in the public areas and take it all in.

A remarkable number of busy guests were very impressed by how little time it took for them to check in and out. They really appreciated the efficient way the reception staff dealt with this process, since it allowed them to get on with their day.

It was very hard to find unkind words written about the staff. Most guests found them to be a delight to deal with, saying they had the sort of pleasant attitude that made them easy to approach with a question or concern.

Guests in rooms that faced the highway found out first hand that the convenience of being so close to the interstate did not come without a price. They reported that the sound of cars and trucks speeding by could easily be heard. This sometime caused sleep disturbances, especially for light sleepers.

Guests who intended to spend most of their time in San Antonio itself felt that the hotel was a bit far out for their purposes. Though the highway provided convenient access, they thought it may have been a better idea to have booked a more expensive room downtown instead.

Guests who were staying for a while quickly tired of the breakfast. They said that the hotel does not really rotate foods, so the breakfast on day one is the same as the breakfast on day seven.
