Many visitors have been pleasantly surprised by the degree of hospitality of the staff here. If you need directions to some of the nearby local attractions, then the knowledgeable staff will have the answer in no time at all. There is also some great advice when it comes to dining out.
positive:
What a great location
Ideal for visiting historic downtown Flagstaff, and close to many fine restaurants and casual eateries, this hotel is in the hub of all the activity and close to Interstate 40. If you are planning an exciting day trip then head out to the Grand Canyon which can be reached in about 90 minutes by car.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No bathroom fan
Quite a number of travelers commented that they would have liked a fan fitted for ventilation in the bathrooms. It is reported to become very stuffy and full of steam when the bathroom door is closed, so if you can leave it open just a crack for safety, that would be ideal.
negative:
Could be a little noisy
Many guests have complained about noise from the freeway, especially when large trucks go by at a speed, and have suggested that the soundproofing in the rooms be improved. You might want to bring along a pair of ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
negative:
A bit outdated
Although the hotel has undergone some renovation, guests felt that the low ceilings and some of the original decor still gave off that feeling of an older hotel. The low ceilings caused the rooms to be darker than usual, and guests felt a bit boxed in.
