Many appreciated having several pleasant and comfortable places on the hotel's premises where they could relax and unwind including the stylishly decorated lounges with their cosy open fireplaces. During warmer weather a favourite spot for many guests was the sun terrace with its stunning views over the gardens and surrounding countryside.
Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant said that they were impressed with the quality of the food which they described as being tasty and well prepared. The menus were said to be extensive catering for various tastes and preferences whilst the conservatory dining room was described as being very pleasant boasting stunning views of the gardens.
The hotel overlooks a rather busy road and guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building said that they could hear traffic noise which prevented many from opening their windows in the evenings.
Guests whose rooms were located in the annexe building objected to the fact that their accommodation was rather small and cramped. Many said they had little space to move around and also mentioned that their beds were on the small side.
