"Mystic Konak", which is the equivalent of the word "peace" in the middle of the village, has been serving as one of the oldest hostels in the village for many years. An opportunity not to be missed for those who want to experience a unique experience away from the noise of the city, where greenery captures you !!! We have 4 rooms in our pension with a view of the church, located in the center of the Sirince mountain village famous for its wine and houses. In the mansion, which is an old Greek house, the interior has completely preserved its originality, it is far from showing off and our rooms have hot water, air conditioning and wireless internet. The morning breakfast is a scattered village breakfast consisting of organic products. You can feel yourself at home in the middle of silence or watch the unique sunset with its peaceful view in our place, which has the most beautiful garden of Şirinc, with our beautiful wines that are not full of taste ... Sirince History Sirince was originally settled when Ephesus was abondoned but what you see today mostly dates from the 19th century. The story goes that a group of freed Greek slaves settled here in the 15th century and called the village Çirkince (foulness) to deter others from following them. This altered to Kirkinje by the 19th century and following the exodus of the greeks in the population exchange of 1920s, its name was changed to the more honest Şirince (Pleasantness). Şirince was repopulated by Turks from northern Greece; they built a mosque, but retained the local alcohol trade and today you can sample theirunique fruit wines ( made from raspberry, strawberry, peach, black mulberry and apple) in local restaurants and cafes. Sadly you will look high and low for grape based şarap (wine).
