Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and serviced every day, including daily fresh towels. They are fairly small but comfortably furnished and form a good base from which to explore Windermere.

No need for the hassle of taking the car + the impossible hurdle of parking it. Just walk in to Windermere and use buses and steamers if you want to go further afield.

If you’ve been to Windermere before + experienced the drama of trying to park the car, you’ll appreciate the value of free parking! The guest house has an off street parking area that is dedicated for guests’ use. A real godsend!

Rooms aren’t large and have become still smaller with the inclusion of en-suite areas.

Portions are OK for most but, if a breakfast enthusiast, you might get mid-morning hunger pangs.

It can be disconcerting to arrive and find there’s nobody there to greet you. It’s not the guest’s responsibility to cover these circumstances, but the owner should have it sorted so arrivals don’t suffer additional pressure after a long journey.
