negative:
A lovely view of a strip club
Some guests were not over fond of the neighborhood the hotel is located in. They described it as a rough part of town, with a strip club situated behind the hotel that some of the guest room windows face. The hotel does employ security staff, but some guests still felt unsafe.
negative:
It could use some more soundproofing
Quite a few guests complained the walls in the guest rooms are rather thin. Several guests said they were kept up at night by the sounds of the television or loud conversations in neighboring rooms or hallways.
negative:
The breakfast is hit or miss
While some guests had an excellent experience with Hampton Inn Dallas-North-I-35E At Walnut Hill's breakfast buffet, others were not so fortunate. They complained that many items were understocked or empty, and that hot foods like the scrambled were allowed to go cold long before being replaced.
