Although guests mention that the rooms are due a remodel, most found the accommodation clean and comfortable regardless. Plus, reviews indicate that the required remodel has started. Guests have found the work in the freshly decorated rooms to be of a good standard.

Guests have found the location of the hotel off the highway convenient. One of the plus points is the shops and dining spots nearby although guests have also noted the proximity of downtown Frederick along with attractions such as the Monocacy Battlefield.

A handful of guests mention that this Comfort Inn was priced higher than other hotels in the brand but concluded that this was perhaps due to the hotel’s proximity to Washington DC (44 miles away). However, most guests felt that the rooms here are reasonably priced and offer good value for money.

Pool situation disappoints
Several guests mention that they would have preferred the pool to be on-site. As it is, you’ll be able to use a facility at a neighboring hotel but this does mean that you’ll have to make your way across a car park after your swim.

Feedback about breakfast is a little mixed. Some guests felt it was a fairly average spread but did the job. Others mention that there was a limited amount of food available at any one time and generally found the choice rather sparse. On the plus side, guests appreciate the late finish of the service.

Guests find the lobby is inviting but are less impressed with the hallways, mentioning issues such as dirty carpets, old paintwork, and smoke smells. Hopefully, this shouldn’t affect your stay too much but it does seem that the hallways should be included in the renovation work.
