The Oceanfront Cottage is a very cute, cozy 1 BR /1 bath cottage across the street from the Pacific Ocean and Kehena Beach.- the view is stunning. It has a living,dining and food prep area. It has a refrigerator, sink and utensils. Linen is provided. The cottage has a comfortable QUEEN BED and there is a double sized sofa bed in the living room that can sleep one adult or two children. The bedroom has air conditioning for your comfort at night. Parking is FREE next to cottage, FREE WiFi and landline FREE access to WASHER/DRYER & laundry detergent is provided. The cottage has two TV's in the LR and BR. You get free Netflix as well. LOCATION: The Oceanfront Cottage is across the street from Kehena Beach and close to Pahoa and local lava hiking areas of Kalapana. You can now drive to the newest black sand beach in the world ' Pohoiki Black Sand Beach" and thermal ponds! There are other secluded beaches in the area as well at Kaimu, Mackenzie and Kapoho which you have to hike to. We are expecting that in roads to Kapoho Beach will be created soon. The cottage is 15 minutes to the Leilani Eruption sites and < 1 hour to Volcanoes National Park. Previous guests say its a 'good home base' to see the many popular sites of Puna and the entire island which takes < 3 hrs to cross. There is so much to see on this island. The cottage is also 10 minutes from farmers markets, stores, restaurants and delis'. Pahoa is just 20 minutes away. The Oceanfront Cottage typically gets 4.5 star reviews and you will love it too!
