The Montagne Bourbonnaise is in the north of the Auvergne and Domaine Laveneau is 45 minutes from Vichy and Roanne. Our region offers calm, plenty of space, picturesque villages and beautiful nature. Here you (re) find the authentic France. We are 800m above sea level; the highest point of our mountains is 1200m above sea level. La Loge des Gardes, winter and summer resort, is 6 km from us. If you especially want to rest and spend a stress free time to recover from everyday life, this is the place to be. If you like sports there is a multitude of possibilities. Hiking (with 400 km of marked trails at your disposal), mountain biking (112 km of marked trails), cycling, canoeing, swimming, horse riding, paragliding, cross-country skiing and downhill or snowshoeing, acro-branch, geo-caching , fishing ..... Bikers will love the mountain roads, which, in general, are very well maintained. We offer two exceptional and very comfortable chalets (3 and 4 stars), beautiful gardens, breathtaking mountain views and direct access to the forest. We speak English.
