Positive Reviews
positive:
This is the real Spain.
There are just three apartments and the village is as far off the beaten track as you can imagine. Party going tourists don't come here. Consequently, it's peaceful and quiet. It's a nice village with shops, bakery and pharmacy; plus a weekly market. There's also lots to do here and the activities are hugely attractive to families; particularly the older kids. ‘Everyone' goes to Restaurant Puig Monte!
positive:
Impressive apartment accommodation.
Apartments are basic but very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable, if not a little ancient. There's a tendency for partners to roll into the middle of the mattress. Oh, well!
positive:
Friendly owners.
The owners add character to the property and to the attraction of your stay here. OK, there can be a bit of a language/communication problem but, that's ‘no importa'; both parties will enjoy making themselves understood... more often than not.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Quite a few …Spanish steps.
There are quite a few steps up to the apartment. They don't make great play of this in the publicity, but any elderly or disabled guests would do well to note the situation before booking. Also, the friendly owners need to step up to the mark in the kitchen. It really isn't very well equipped at all.
negative:
No entiendo. Don't understand?
The owners couldn't be nicer or more welcoming, but it's difficult for them to understand you, unless of course, you have a smattering of Spanish.
negative:
Lack of privacy.
It's just the balcony/terrace area that blots their copybook. They don't say, but you assume, that your terrace is private to you. Bluntly, it isn't! It's very communal. The problem isn't huge, though, as there are only three apartments in total.
