The perfect place to watch shooting stars and spectacular meteor showers at night and wake up to a breathtaking sunrise. Our current location is in a beautiful cove next to Zip Line. It is an amazing place for Austins sunny winter days as it is quiet, calm, peaceful and the lake is like glass. We rent by the hour or overnight please confirm check-in and checkout times before making the booking. The houseboat stays anchored or docked in a cove this is not a charter we do not take guests on a cruise around Lake Travis. The houseboat electricity will be powered by an onboard generator when anchored on the lake. We will shuttle you by pontoon from the houseboat to a pickup location. If you have your own boat it can be tied off to the houseboat. A pontoon boat is available for rent please check with us for pricing. Deluxe modern 55-feet-long and 14-feet-wide renovated Airstream houseboat complete with global style interiors. The lower room, main floor, and decks form a total of 1,700 square feet, providing plenty of space. The houseboat is finished with dark hardwood floors, aluminum walls, local Austin fossilized limestone countertops, and staircase, and carpeted or astroturf decks/porches. Locally harvested bamboo and eclectic decor combine Greek, Mediterranean, Moroccan, and Indian influences to create a quiet and refined atmosphere. Lavender from our own farm is in the bedrooms and throughout the property to help promote calmness and wellness, and help reduce stress, anxiety, and mild pain. The property sleeps up to 12 guests and includes bedroom 1 with king bed and a private bathroom with shower, bedroom 2 with 2 double beds, toilet, 2 Kammok camping hammocks each sleeping 1 person and 2 double air mattresses sleeping 4 people, making it possible to spend a night on the rooftop under the stars. Please note that bedroom 2 has a low ceiling, requiring guests to crawl in order to access one of the beds. There is no working oven but there is a portable stove top burner. 2 Kayaks and a Lillypad float mattress are available upon request.
