Located in the village of Condeixa, at 1H30 from Porto Airport and Lisbon Airport, you are just a few minutes away from the Unesco World Heritage city of Coimbra. Next to the Hotel, you will find the mythical ruins of Conímbriga, the PO.RO.S Museum and the iconic and intriguing Buracas do Casmilo. A historical place full of charm, refinement and tranquility. This space was formerly the Almadas Palace. The roots of this palace date back to the 14th century. The building, which is considered one of the most important of Condeixa, was restructured in XIX. In 1993, it underwent deep works and was transformed into Hotel. Since 2019, is the 4 **** Hotel, Conimbriga Hotel do Paço. Here, there were lodged individualities of the most distinguished nobility and European royalty. Some of the special guests of the former palace were King D. Manuel I in 1500, D. Catarina, on his return to the Kingdom after the death of his husband Charles II of England in 1704, D. Pedro II, Charles of Austria and, finally, the infant of Spain D.
