The first campsite in the world to be certified by the SGS ICS for the quality of its services is to be found in Rio Alto, Estela, close to the town of Póvoa de Varzim. The awarding of this certificate makes Orbitur Intercâmbio de Turismo SA a pioneer company worldwide, for this recognition was the first to be attributed to an enterprise of this nature. The campsite has direct access to the beach with passage under a golf course, in the heart of Costa Verde. The park has excellent facilities, including one mini-market, restaurant, bar and self-service, common rooms and a swimming pool, which is free for users.
