If you're looking for a place to base yourself while you explore Penzance and the surrounding area this bed and breakfast will do the job. You can easily stroll around the town centre and the coast is just five minutes' walk away.

The breakfast included in the room rate here is first class, everything is prepared and cooked fresh to order. Bacon and eggs, smoked haddock, fresh fruit and cereals are all on the menu.

Some of the beds in the rooms here are old. You might end up with an uncomfortable one, or maybe a really squeaky one. Test the bed when you arrive and if it is not up to scratch request a different room.

Outside of your room there really is nowhere for you to relax in this bed and breakfast. There is a dining room for breakfast, but once you've finished eating you're not invited to stay.

Torwood House is a budget bed and breakfast so you can't really expect too much, but a few added extras could really make a big difference. A radio alarm clock in the rooms and better floor mats in the bathrooms would be a start.
