The local area has many attractions within easy reach including 10 golf centres within 8 miles, fishing, walking, museums, theatres, cinemas and theme parks to entertain young and old alike. Located on Main Street along with thatched cottages is the White Lion Public House, itself dating back to the 1800s and to this day offering real ales, open fires and a true local atmosphere. The Village Hall also located nearby is the home of the local young farmers association and hosts frequent social events.
