Merrybent Hill is a stunning luxury B&B situated in an rural location in the Forest of Bowland, with outstanding views towards Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Dales. The house has immense character with stone mullioned windows, huge oak beams and log burning stoves. Perfectly situated for visiting the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the Lake District National Park, Merrybent Hill is located near to the quaint village of Slaidburn. We are only half an hour's drive from the Yorkshire 3 Peaks of Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside, and a mere 45 minutes drive from Kendal, gateway to the Lake District. Our accommodation offers a stunning bedroom with outstanding views, exposed beams, a super-king bed, and a luxurious contemporary bathroom with large bath and separate rain shower. We also have a double room with pretty country views and a private bathroom (separate from the room). At breakfast time enjoy a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, cereals, danish pastries, yoghurts and juices, followed by a hot breakfast with lots of choices, whilst sitting in front of the log burning stove and enjoying the amazing view.
