Positive Reviews
positive:
Stunning setting.
Guests are awed by the location, which offers a dramatic
landscape in all its natural beauty. Is there a better way to end the day than
with a glass of wine as the sun sets over a wild ocean? You'll also be a stone's
throw from Land's End.
positive:
Delicious food.
Guests enjoy dining at Cape Cornwall Golf and Leisure - they
love the fresh, cooked-to-order breakfast options, and if you don't feel like
going anywhere else for dinner, the other meals here come highly rated too, and
guests consider dining here to be good value for money.
positive:
Super service.
The friendly, discreet approach of the staff is appreciated
by guests at this hotel. If you want a stay where you'll be well looked after
whenever you need something, but also given plenty of privacy, the service here
should win you over too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Chilly temperatures.
Numerous guests say that the rooms were cold, and that the heating wasn't effective enough to warm them up. While this might not be an issue in the height of summer, at other times of the year, you may need to pack extra layers and ask for additional blankets.
negative:
Some small rooms.
Because the hotel has been created in a former barn, not all the rooms are the same size, and some are pretty small, according to guests. In addition, not all rooms benefit from the spectacular views, so It may be worth paying a bit extra to upgrade.
negative:
Water pressure problems.
Some guests report that the showers aren't the best, and
that there can sometimes be problems with the water temperature and pressure,
especially if there's high demand on the system. You may have to get up early
or wait a while to get a decent shower.
