Location is just about perfect
The greatest thing about this hotel is its location, as it's right in the heart of bustling Shinjuku’s buzzing shopping district with all manner of bars, restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues stores, and fast-food outlets pretty much right on your doorstep. Being directly across the street from the nearest metro station is extremely handy too as it puts the rest of Tokyo within very easy reach.
positive:
A truly pristine hotel
There are some hotels which, even from the outside, manage to convey a super-clean and double-fresh vibe at all times. This is without doubt one such hotel - clean as a whistle, inside and out!
positive:
Guest bathrooms are impressively stocked
The guest bathrooms here provide everything from razors, sponges and hair rings to shower caps, toothpaste and toothbrushes. In addition, they also feature luxury Sheishdo toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and body wash as standard. Lovely.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Reception crew need to up their game
Abrupt, inflexible and hindered by a general lack of basic knowledge/language skills; it’s easy to see why so many guests have taken issue with the overall level of service delivered by this hotel’s reception team.
negative:
Accommodations aren’t very big
With 11 square metres of available space and no cupboards or wardrobes in sight, the accommodations here aren’t exactly designed with entertaining or spreading out in mind.
negative:
City noise can be an issue at night
This is a very busy district and as such the sound of traffic and sirens often conspires to keep guests, especially those staying in lower-floor rooms, awake at night. You have been warned.
